We were at the Palms last week(5 days ending June 20) and the cocktail service at the Black Jack and Pai Gow tables were REALLY slow...but when they did finally arrive, there were very cordial and fun, as were the dealers. We didn't do the buffet, but the Nove (pro No Va) steakhouse was very good, as was the pool with lots of hotties serving drinks, and speaking of hotties, many of the guests were young ladies hotties.....but don't take this dirty ole' man's word for it, check out the Palms for yourself. The room was also very nice (though we paid $129 night casino rate, not the web site advertised $69 night). By the way, they do have lots of Full Pay VP machines too. When we go back to Vegas, it will, no doubt, be at the Palms. DTH

Ive tried that buffet once and it was one of the worst. I haven't tried it since, even after it was redone. I get a bad taste in my mouth walking near it. I dont understand how people think the buffet at GVR is any good. I think that its a pretty poor buffet as well. Some of the other stations are better. Maybe its just me and my general dislike of buffets.
