It may be possible to get more than $30. What hasn't been mentioned is bonus points. However, I don't play VP at any Harrahs casinos, so perhaps bonus points don't accumulate on vp as they do on slots.
When checking out of Paris, go to the vip/invited guest room directly across from the regular check in/out desk. There is a host in there who's main job is to see if he/she can comp anything during your stay. I always seem to get more comped than expected, with far less play than you plan on doing.
