The World Trade Organization has ruled the US govt. (ie US Republicans led by Frisk, Kyle) have no authority to regulate offshore poker sites, but USA closes them down anyway.
USA govt. contends the offshore sites are doing business in US. Yet at same time, USA govt. treats the players money as an offshore account, and if you have over 10k in it and didnt declare it, you will be in trouble. They want it both ways.
US players monies are frozen for now. Neteller was shut down years ago and after about 6 months players got their money back. If players don't get their money back this time, all hell will break loose.
Harrahs will see their World Series of Poker turnout crumble due to this. Last year over 7200 player paid $10,000 to play the big event. Likely less than 2,500 this year as few online qualifiers and everyones money will be locked up.
