I was just reading that LVA QOD and about the roulette ball bouncing off the chandelier, etc., and it reminded me of something that happened to me once, although not quite as spectacular. I was about 18 years old, sitting at a table, playing gin with someone, while two guys were not far away playing at a pool table. The guy's shot flew off the pool table, through the air, hit me in the face and bounced off of my jaw, and into my shirt pocket. So help me God that's true. I stood up, and everyone ducked for cover figuring I was going to go nuts on someone, but I knew it was an accident and just took the ball out of my pocket and said "good shot" and placed it back on the pool table. Boy that hurt, but nothing broke, and I still have my original teeth.
