Most of the "coin dropper" machines I play here in the Great State of
Nevada in the good 'ol USA (where I have no feeling of impending doom, by the
way) will require a handpay for any cashout over 1000 credits. In fact, the
only machines of that type I've run into that didn't act that way were the
old Pick 'Em machines at the Fremont that started spilling coins everytime
the payout of a hand would push you up over 1000 credits.
And speaking of the Fremont and a previous topic here recently, I have
staying there almost exclusively on the monthly room offers during all my trips
down there for the past couple of years. As mentioned. the rooms are a
little small, but you can't beat the convenience of being no more than a 4
minute walk from valet to your room and only being about a minute away from
the casino. And as a loyal Boyd customer, I have never had any trouble
conducting business through the free Wi-Fi over at MSS.
