Anthony Curtis wrote about this issue in the March 2003 issue of "Strictly Slots" -- I bought the magazine solely for that article. AC stated back in 2003 regarding Greektown: "The dynamics of video poker advantage play are changing. ... If you go in and pound a situation, you better be prepared to be pounded back."
IMO, the real "stupid fucktards" are the APs who never got AC's message. From the casino's perspective, the 10X coupons are being used to promote business and reward their "good customers" and that is the CASINO'S right. When a bunch of undesirables show up and try to ruin the casino's goodwill, then these "undesirables" shouldn't get upset when they get 86ed. Remember the saying: You reap what you sow.
It's always the bad apples that ruin it for everyone else and it's these bad apples that don't want to take responsibility for their actions.
And before anyone hires a lawyer, get a copy of the rules to the slot club because that is a contract. Your use of the slot card is acceptable of said contract. I am not a lawyer but contract law is not quantum physics and every slot club contract that I read says something to the effect "management reserves all rights." The courts will tell APs, if you don't like the terms of the contract, then don't enter into said contract. If you hate being 86'ed in front of strangers, then don't go to that casino. Remember, everytime an AP walks inside a casino to make money, there's a chance the casino will respond.
So what should APs be doing? Use discretion, use camoflauge, play slots, come across like a good customer, etc., etc. Listen to AC's sage advise (from 8 years ago) and stop blaming casinos for acting in their own best interest. It's absolutely shocking to "stupid fucktards" that casinos would act in their own best interest (sarcasm intended!).
