In his last article he was discussing "stress", and in it he mentioned that $5 and up players would be thrilled to get a half percent edge, and frequently a quarter percent is higher than they can find.
I cannot tell you the many times when I have left my WinPoker running on high speed simulation and come back an hour later and it's run some several gazillion hands. I mean, literally, 10 to 20 million hands. And, not always, but often enough, the result is OVER a quarter percent off from the "expected" result.
So if what Bob said is true, and I certainly believe him, these BIG players like him would not be assured they're going to end up in the black even after a decade or more of play. Wow! Talk about a hard way to make an easy living!
