Hi Gang:
The dates for the three Harrah's/Caesars Seven Stars Signature Events in
2011 are now complete.
As I've already posted, the first will be in Atlantic City June 23-26. The
second will be in Lake Tahoe Aug. 26-29 and the third will be in New
Orleans Oct. 6-9 AND Oct. 13-16. I'm guessing that NOLA split its event over two
weekends since it cannot handle large crowds like the other two venues.
The second weekend in NOLA also coincides with the Crescent City Blues and
Barbecue weekend, which is supposed to be a very nice event in itself. So,
maybe that will be part of the Seven Stars celebration.
This information comes from very good sources, inside the Harrah's family
and out, so we're guessing that it is very reliable even though there has
been no official word from Harrah's higher-ups yet.
No other details are available at this time, other than what we've posted
previously about the AC event.
Meanwhile, Hedy and I are flying to Reno tomorrow for a three-night split
stay at Harrah's and the Atlantis, then we continue on to Vegas Friday for
a three-night stay at South Point.
We were hoping to head West off a win this past weekend and we did,
although it was a bit sobering after Hedy hit aces with a kicker for 2K twice
within five minutes on Saturday and we wound up going home just a couple of
hundred dollars to the good. But, as they say, a win is a win is a win ...
