To beat roulette? I'm sure it's been done many times, just most people aren't talking. If you beat the casino, the casino considers it a crime and often prosecutes, so best to lay low. The "professors" Shannon and Thorp did it in the 50-60's with the first wearable computer, which I'm guessing is why gaming made a rule of no computers for customers (though the casino can use a computer, see MindPlay).
