As long as we are straying tangentially off-topic here are some tidbits:
When I hear "Hot Shot", I think of the early 1970's Gottlieb company's Hot Shot pinball machine. This "pin" and its brother Big Shot (don't remember which was the two player or four player version) was pool room based with a high skill element to hit the Red Light Special to win a free game. Williams and Bally were Gotleib's main competitors in this time frame, luckily for them they had other streams of revenue to develop in later years.
