[vpFREE] Re: Red Rock has eliminated discretionary comps for slot players

Thought I would bring this thread back up, as I replied to this back
in Oct. about RR comps.

Just got back again on the 19th. We stayed 2 nights at RR and 2 at GVR.
Up until Oct. we've been given RFB and a suite at both resorts. This
trip after checking out at RR, I saw my point count of about 350K
dropped to about 170K, so figured that the points were deducted for
food this time based on this thread's discussion.

At check out at Green Valley Ranch we were told that a host on duty
would review our bill and adjust it and that our own host would also
take a look. To my surprise when we got home our GVR credit card
charge was billed $380 higher than expected. I contacted my host who
said it was for food charges which we've never paid for before and our
heavy VP play this time was at the very least equal to the past
visits, so I've now requested that we use our points to pay for the
food charges. Haven't heard back, so we shall see.

So my question is: has Green Valley Ranch now gone the way of Red
Rock and guests who were once given full RFB now must use points for
comps?
