In South Florida where the Govenor has shut down just about everything, the Seminole Casinos are still open. Why, because they have sovereignty and couldn't give a crap how many people get infected or may die due to their carelessness.

This fits into their pattern. The day before Hurricane Irma hit Florida as a Cat 5 they cancelled the reservations of 200 non native american families to put members of the tribe in the rooms. My famliy was one of hte ones htat got cancelled. They lied about it and said they were closing but were eventually found out. When I confronted the CEO of the HR and asked that the tribe commit to never doing that again his response was, "why would we, we have sovereignty".  I subsequently contacted every Florida congressman, Senator and major newspaper and did not get a single repsonse. Until something is done to end Indian sovereignty in their public for profit business they will continue to operate with impunity and have little regard for how many people get the Corona virus in their Casinos..

Now that everything is closed down here in Nevada (all the way down to the machines at the convenience stores), are there any places in the country where Casinos are still open?

Since I retired and moved to Las Vegas last fall, I've going over to the Orleans about every day, as it's within walking distance in my neighborhood.
Business seemed fairly normal over the weekend, but was a little light yesterday.  Today, the crowds were really thin.  Every other slot and video poker machine is shut down to give you lots of "distance", but with the lack of patrons, that's not hard to achieve.  About a half dozen tables were open in the poker room...five players per table...  The number of people at the buffet were really down, considering it's "Young at Heart" Tuesday.  The buffet is more like a high school cafeteria line now- you can't use utensils, so you hand your plate to a server and they load on whatever you want.
I haven't been down to the strip, but with the MGM properties, Wynn, Encore, and the Cosmopolitan shut down, I am thinking the crowds are significantly reduced.  If this goes on for a few more weeks, it will make a major dent in the Casino wins (not to mention sales tax collections), which will be bad for the state budget like it was during the recession.  (We public employees went through two years of 5% paycuts back then.)
The schools and libraries are closed, NAB canceled, the NFL draft won't be happening here in town, no hockey games at T-Mobile arena, and the properties that are still open have generally closed all the shows...  Tough times.
