The Bellagio Conservatory and Fountain Show are very good free attractions for first time visitors no matter their ages. More info on the Bellagio website.
All the Cirque du Soleil shows are top notch and many headliners are usually in town. Better seats are available if you book early.
Riding the monorail may not be a good way to see the strip since it runs behind the casinos and it can be a long walk from there to each casino.
The Top of the World revolving restaurant at the top of the STRAT has a beautiful view of the valley after dark. There are also thrill rides up there. See the stratosphere.com website for more info.
The Las Vegas Advisor website has loads of info about attractions and shows.

hello Don't know much about conservatory. Caesars on my list. Do they charge for self parking at Mirage or Caesars? Still haven't decided on Vegas show? I'm guessing it's not too early to reserve? Ideas? I'm thinking Vegas Monorail might be a decent trip to take for seeing strip. I've never been on it. Driving Strip about 3am in morning? How many casinos can u go to in an evening? Do they offer an all day pass? Cheers Jeep
