In your shoes, I might start culling the most frequently named properties in vpFREE posts and glean what you can about those inventories and offers/promotions.
Locals drop a good number of "bread crumbs" in their posts (although a differentiating factor is that they benefit from locals promos/mailings that visitors often don't have access to).
