a 13% loss on 1800 plays?   That sounds like a good number of my standard play IL DW sessions.

I don't intend to minimize the pain of the loss.  However, at $25 a play, you're betting pretty big for a "quarter" game.  Between the double wager for the play option and a hefty set of multipliers at the top end, it wouldn't be entirely unsurprising if the swings were much more akin to a single line game at the same total wager rather than n-play.

But you're no stranger to variance or a stiff wager ... I expect you'll find your way through this, despite the initial surprise.  At least you also have dealt deuces w/ A kicker to look for a huge dose of relief ;)

Our casino just got a new IGT game "Double Big Wheel Poker".

It's a lot like IGT's "Hot Roll" poker.  It's 3/5/10 play where you

play 10 coins per game instead of 5.  Every 5.04 games, on average,

you get a multiplier which averages 6.05.  Multipliers can be

2,3,4,6,8,9,12 or 16.  It looked gentle enough to me with no strategy

changes needed to play.  Unfortunately it's not a gentle game.  I've

played Bonus Deuces 13/4/3/3  with about $45,000 coin-in on 10 play

quarters and my losses are now $6000. If it doesn't turn soon I'll have

a long wait for the 16X with a drawn royal for $160,000.
