I and other vpFREE members have been unable to upload
pictures to the Yahoo vpFREE photo albums.
I just checked the Yahoo Group Managers Forum and found the appended posts.

It's broke, again.
At least for my military group.
Can't add a photo to a pre-existing album, and can't load new
pictures into a newly created album.
Everything appears to work, but the pictures never show up.

No, there isn't. This group is staffed by volunteers who administer or
moderate their own groups. Yahoo (and the new owner, Verizon), do not
officially support this product. There is no helpdesk and officially
there will be no updates.
That said, groups are not completely ignored. When things break, they
do eventually get fixed. Some of us believe that the recent
instabilities are caused by moving or reconfiguring servers to the new
owner's network.
Experience shows that things do eventually get fixed.
