Obviously, I can't say for certain, but my understanding is that anyone who has qualifying play is not being denied a room anywhere -- short of any holidays, special events or sold-out situations such as conventions (and, even then, there are exceptions for really good players).
It's people who took advantage of this benefit that forced Caesars to take it away -- much like a number of other benefits many of us enjoyed over the years.
