I played exactly 85 points ($170 coin in) on the $1 NSUD at Fremont Casino and it was insufficient to earn a coveted tear credit.  Varies by casino?

I'm confident that the 85 daily points or $170 coin-in is at worst an upper bound for one tier credit.
