Thanks to both of you for posting about this. I looked at my account
on my phone and the first page it showed me was an Emerald card with
my name, account number and an expiration date of 12/31/19. It also
shows correctly that I have less than 5000 tier credits. We're
supposed to have 15,000 tier credits this year to earn an Emerald card
good through 12/31/19.
I showed this to a Gold Coast players club attendant who looked at my
account on her computer. She agreed that I am now Emerald through 2019
(in spite of having less than 5000 tier credits) and printed me a card
that says this.
(I can only see my current card when I log in on my phone not on my
desktop computer.)
While at Gold Coast I noticed that Ping Pang Pong has a new sign at
their VIP line that says it's now only for Onyx and Titanium. Used to
be Emerald and above. VIP lines at the buffet and players club are
still for Emerald and above.

Just logged in to my BConnected account online this morning and my
tier points have jumped from 480 to 780 and it shows I'm sapphire thru
12/31/19 (was going to expire at the end of the month)
Wondering if they made another change to the tier points earned on
prior VP play as it's been over a month since I played in one of their
casinos.

I had a similar experience. I played Downtown Wednesday evening and
had about 3,000 tier credits when I finished. Went to Gold Coast
Thursday and my card reader and kiosk said I had over 15,000 tier
credits. The online account now indicates I'm Emerald through 2019..
