Why should the casino care? Action is action. This would be the same thing as if the husband had earned paper tickets on their own and given them to the wife or some other party to fill out and deposit in the drum. If the wife's name wasn't called then the husband's would have been called. Either way the casino is being dickish and it's obvious they're just looking for a way to not award the car. Did they have a second drawing to give the car to someone else? I doubt it. The casino just gave.nothing to anyone. I don't think this is the first time that Viejas has used the wrong player card in the machine gambit to refuse to pay a jackpot. Why does the casino care so much? Husbands and wife's and members of households play on each other's cards all of the time. Most casinos could care less...they just want the action.
"So if a husband and wife played on the same card on slot machines sitting side by side to each other that would result in a disqualification. If the companion was accumulating entries in another part of the casino then the casino would probably be in the right. I need more information."
