When you are at the Grand Canyon, you are very near to the single most beautiful drive in America - the drive down to Sedona from the north. It is amazing and Sedona, while it's pricy, is kind of interesting as a new-age place. Nice cafes to get a lovely lunch or dinner and so on. In my opinion it would be a shame to miss this drive which I've done several times. What's amazing is that the driver can see it all too as the road goes back and forth with varying views in front.
