What the Palms is doing with their VP inventory should not be surprising. Everyone here should know what type of games a Station Casino will offer. They'll likely have one bank of 100%+ optimum pay games, a few banks of 99.8% games, and the rest of the casino will be 8/5 Bonus Poker, 9/5 Jacks, and 15/9 Ugly Ducks and shorter pay games at low denominations.
No need to worry about what level of mailer action on the 99.8 games will generate. As of Jul31 I couldn't find any such games at Palms. I checked most but not ALL banks of VP. Optimum pay games still there.
