The Captcha website says that version 1 was shutdown on
March 31st 2018 and site owners should upgrade to version 2.
The vpFREE2 database administrator/site owner has been
notified of this.
Captcha is the verification tool that asks users to decipher
a line of text before they submit something to a website. It
appears that vpFREE2 users must do this to submit updates or
use the Contact Us link only if they are not logged in with
their vpFREE2 account. And no one can now sign up for an
account because that page also uses the deactivated Captcha.
As far as I know, there are still three ways to submit
updates to vpFREE2:
1) If you have a vpFREE2 account, sign in and use the
"Submit Us An Update" tab.
2) Post your update on any of the vpFREE forums.
3) Send your update to me privately and I will submit it for
you since I have a vpFREE2 account.
I'm copying the vpFREE2 administrator/site owner on this in
case he has anything to add.
