[vpFREE] Re: Experience credit - cruise fees

If it's anything like the former 2 credit Haven Suite redemption, you redeem online and they will follow-up with contact to see that appropriate credit is forwarded to the proper people at NCL.  I'm sure that you're given a contact with whom you can follow up with at anytime if something further is necessary to apply the credit.

Make sure you properly evaluate the value of this benefit.  It's noted as covering fees, taxes, and port expenses as for "1 person".  I assume this means that, if traveling with a companion in your cabin, only 1/2 of the applicable charges are covered.

Personally, I'm inclined to redeem my credit for a $500 folio credit at the property of my choice.  The noted fees for my last Western Carribbean cruise in May came to $160 per person.  (There are charges outside of these fees ... most notably, an "Administrative Fee" of $140 per person.)

Has anyone used this benefit? O want to book a cruise for October. Balance is due when reserving. So wondering how to make sure that credit applies. Anyone know the process?
