I don't think you're missing anything. Not really sure it's worth it to be Emerald. Benefits aren't that great. Mailed offers have gotten weaker and weaker too.

So after an extended period of gambling in NV., I achieved Emerald Status for this year. Other than a line pass for the buffet (was kind of handy at Orleans--got status in December) and the daily 3X multiplier, are there any other benefits I've missed?? Been over the website, of course, but that tells us...what it usually tells us. Special parking spots are nice, but the Gold Coast has them for people who go straight to the casino--for a hotel guest like me, it means a LONGER walk. Anyway, just curious if many non-locals have done this (Sapphire is easy to get, Emerald was a result of three long trips). Offers haven't changed much--guess it'll take a few months for the computers to catch up to my play.
