The buttons on video poker machines are not all mapped the same. I saw
one older Game King today whose second from the left hold button
changed the speed control. But many others did not have any button
that changed the speed control. You had to use the screen on these.
I've tried to play some machines whose touch screens were so out of
whack that I couldn't get my free play or even change games. In most
cases the slot attendant was able to recalibrate the screen without
calling a slot tech.
Nevertheless, if you tried all the buttons and none of them changed
the speed, then you're stuck until and employee fixes the screen.

There is an IGT type game machine that I would like to play on, but
recently the screen stopped working. It may take a very long time
before the casino slot techs will fix this. In the meantime, I would
like to play this machine at as fast a hand rate as possible. Is
there a way with the physical buttons to adjust the speed? (For
example, there is "bet one credit button" that can be pushed to adjust
the number of lines and credits bet without using the touchscreen)
