A quibble--I'm sure Bob knows better.

I think six cards would be sufficient.
 
BTW, I have personally experienced a Dream Card error. Playing 8/5 BP, dealt a junk hand containing both a 4 and cards in the 5-T range, like 4 5 8 T rainbow, the machine will sometimes pick another 5, 8, or T, when the pair of 4s would be better. The error didn't happen with a 2 or a 3, just with a 4. I think this error was discussed on this board a few years ago, and I don't know if it has been fixed. Since you can change the Dream Card to any card you like, it's not a big deal.
