I did this about 5 months ago. It is a good deal but the better video poker machines all have stickers that exclude them from the promotion. I only play VP and decided to pass because it seems like whenever I am chasing points I lose.
If you like slots then I say do it and yes you have to go to the Players Club but it is pretty easy.

Has anyone done the new player sign up at the Plaza recently? I will be in LV in January and am meeting up with some friends, who are staying at Paris, without a car. I'm trying to figure out if it is worth it to shuttle them back and forth to the Plaza for this promo.
We will have Friday - Sunday to get it done. I understand you have to sign up and then your win/loss for the next 24 hours determines your rebate. You then get half the loss rebate at that point, which has to be played in 24 hours and the second half you get 24 hours after that.
Do you need to go to the booth for both pickups? Thanks for the info.
