I mostly play vp at Borgata in AC. Borgata is currently jointly owned by
MGM and Coast but their comp system is independent of MGM and Coast. They
have a program that you can use your comps to 'purchase' coupons ($1 for
$1) toward your stay in LV. A $50 coupon can be put towards your room
portfolio at SunCoast, Sam's Town, Orleans or Main Street Station...all are
Coast properties. The coupons expire 9 months after purchase.
So, a few months ago I purchased $150 in coupons with my comp points at
Borgata that I plan on using this November at Main Street Station for a
week stay. But, by then the sale of Borgata will have gone through and
Borgata will be solely an MGM property and may even be on the Mlife reward
system.
My concern is that the comp coupons will not be accepted at Main Street Stn
upon my arrival. Borgata reward desk says that they will be accepted but it
seemed to be a standard answer from a booth-ling. Is there any way that I
can find out prior to showing up at Main Street Stn that there won't be a
problem using my coupons?
