Re: [vpFREE] Re: Valley View Casino Warning

Hi, yes its true, D , was 86 from the property a few months ago after about a year of us playing there. She hit two 5 $$ royals and two 5 $$ sets in about 5 weeks and was already running lucky at that property before those hits. I warned her to back off and play 1 $$ one line for a month or two but she didn't listen. I have run very hard luck at the property, if I called them and asked they might send a limo to NV to pick me up, that's gambling ! To be fair the coffee shop, buffet, and steakhouse at VV is as good as anything in Vegas and the help in all the restaurants couldn't be better. The slot techs are 5 star as well, and the hotel check in people are as good as it gets ! Sadly D can no longer eat or sleep in the place so my visits going forward will be limited. If you play high , play Barona , Pala, etc, if you play lower level you get great value at VV, its a great all around property. At VV the coin in isn't huge, their business plan is to avoid big hits unless its to regular suckers who will lose it back within 72 hours or less. As players we have to respect their business plan, D, didn't, end of story. Good luck , btw, i'd much rather she get barred then cheated. We had an incident at Pauma as well, a few months ago, if anyone is interested.

A few weeks ago, I was playing at Valley View. While talking to a slot attendant, the conversation turned to players that had been banned from playing. The attendant said she knew of two people that had been banned. I recalled this post and wondered if the OP was one of the two players she knew. Well, now she knows three. I joined this "exclusive" club today.

I don't really know why I was chosen to be banned. Well, no, I do, sort of. I had quite a few taxable hits over the last quarter there. But no eye-popping ones like the OP's two $40k hits. Nor was I taking advantage of promotions other than my weekly Moreplay. I played mostly $1 level VP, occasionally venturing into $2 and $5 games. Based on my records, my net win this year from Valley View is well under five figures. Yet, according to "Mike", VP of Marketing, my play was too strong. Uh-huh, my strong mind simply overpowered the software and willed those four aces to be dealt to me.

After my conversation with the slot attendant, I was thinking I could be a candidate for banning. I'm not terribly upset about this. I won't even be too mad if I don't get my Moreplay money, about $300. It isn't as if Valley View is chock full of full-pay VP. Over the past 3-4 years, VV has decimated their VP inventory. I happened to get on a lucky streak and beat the odds on some less than optimal games. For that, maybe I should be thanking Valley View for ensuring I leave their place a winner.
