The hold logic with the joker and junk cards is counter intuitive. The basic rule is #1 hold Joker with card value 7,,Next option #2, hold Joker with either 8 or 6 ( pick which card is least penalized by flush or straight card), #3 Joker with a 10 (wild royal possibility), #4 hold Joker plus 9 or 5 which ever card is least penalized, # 5 Joker alone (almost never happens) when all cards are 4,3 2 or a Jack, Queen. I call it mental masturbation but it makes one hesitate and think occasionally.
