I don't have any further details about this dispute, but the Hard Rock promo from last year came to mind. That's the one where they first gave us a huge number of gift points, then took them away later. At least they are letting us transfer the gift points earned with this year's cancelled promo to regular points or gift cards.
P.S. I'm surprised that the Hard Rock LV hasn't been sold. That place is dead during the week. Maybe they are making enough from weekend liquor sales. Their weekend pool parties are very popular maybe at least partly because UNLV is nearby.
P.P.S. The original subject of this thread was the April 5 GWAE radio show. This was an interesting one to me with a lot of video poker discussion. The guest was Mr. "Max Coins".

And I thought that promotion got stopped early due to lack of interest! We recreational players always get left out of the loop.
If I read this notice correctly, it sounds like the original investigator sided with the casino. I wonder what they feel Frank did in violation of the promotion.

> Speaking of Frank Kneeland, he is having a dispute with the Hard Rock Casino in Las Vegas over $4500 in gift cards. I saw this in the latest Gaming Control Board Agenda near the bottom of this page:
