In live poker, a bad run of cards can inspire your opponents, making it a good time to either quit, or go find another game if there are many available. That little old lady who has never bluffed in many years sees you "running bad" and may be inspired to take a shot at you, her first bluff since the Truman Administration. You can't call her, because she never bluffs, but now you just got robbed.
