That's what I've been saying but these people don't believe me. Play to optimize the return of the quads and less.
The Royal is only around 2% or so of the return, that's how the smart gamblers think of it. That's how the casinos should think of it also, but many don't, instead they sweat the dollar amount of the royal when they have to pay it, forgeting the average cost the player must pay to hit that royal. That's how a well run casino makes money, pay off the royals and let the players think they're winners, and just sit back and count the vig. Instead of wasting time sweating royals and getting involved in costly disputes, casinos should concentrate on the vig, that's where they make their money.
