We didn't find any other entertainment during the cool weather. The best option for us was to take the shuttle to another casino....VP at Beau was horrible (cruise ship pay tables)
But the property is lovely and food was great throughout. So eating a lot is another unfortunate option ;-)
We did learn by chance that you can use express comps in the retail stores for any logo merchandise. In many cases the logos are tiny so we did a lot of shopping.
