Interesting.. Once I watched person hold one high non suited card instead of two because he was going for Royals. I've seen "royal maniacs".
I think lots of casino management are college bean counters. Few run by gamblers anymore. They reward losers. Problem, as I see it, big losers eventually give up and quit. Ya CAN"T kill the geese laying the golden eggs. Loosening up allows some players to take advantage a little, but you keep the fish coming . That"s the cost of doing business, in gambling. Bean counters, like bankers, must profit everywhere. Geez, having house win of 1-2 % on 500 machines is not as good as 3% win with 1/10 the play , in their scheme of things.
However, gaming is now only 25% of profit, I've heard. Maybe bean counters are right.
