3a. Horseshoe Cincinnati
I had a report that there are Five Dollar 9/6 JoB there. They are not listed in vpFREE2. Can someone confirm one way or another.
Response:
Obviously things are always subject to change, although with video poker, it's usually a change for the worse. I go there every month or two to play a poker tournament and have looked for playable video poker when I get knocked out. Since it's not my primary purpose for going, I can't rely 100% on my recall, but I seem to remember that the best I could find was some $2 9/6 single line (with which, irrelevantly, I have had no success).
And of course, it's a big casino, so there may be some machines I missed checking (although I tend to do a lot of walking around after I get knocked out of a tournament).
I do like the casino other than (1) the (apparent, I'd be happy to hear otherwise) un-availability of 9/6 JoB $1 and (2) the Diamond lounge looks nice but doesn't offer much in the way of food. Parking is usually easy / convenient, and the casino is less than 10 minutes (maybe less than 5) from the interstate, so drive time is as good as possible. It's very similar (in my opinion) to Horseshoe Hammond and the poker room is very similar to Hammond, although not always quite as busy.
