Chorus America. ite is amazing. If you go to chorusamerica.org and then to the advocacy tab, you'll see a host of documents which are disseminated by them. The most interesting is only available to members, but it is a survey that points to choral singing as the most actively participated in art-form in America (well, they had to take a second once country dancing/ballroom dancing got ahold of that)- but still, it is amazing. Something like one in 5 households has a choral singer; something like 22 million Americans participate in choral music.
