Spot on, and very logical. Based on the mathematics, I should have opened a credit line years ago. But I deliberately did not, based on entirely different reasons.
Looking at this from a mental/emotional "lens", it just seemed like a no-win for me, strictly from an enjoyment perspective. If I have a losing session or trip, I only want to experience the loss one time. Having to pay off a marker later would just feel like another loss. Conversely, when I win, I want to enjoy that - not have to hand it back over to the cage.
I realize that this aspect has no strategic or financial relevance....just a different facet for each individual to consider when deciding whether a credit line is right for them.
