Discussion has been limited to vp games with an optional double on wins. It's a 50/50 prop with luck as the only factor.
"Double down stud" video poker (or the table equivalent) is an entirely different animal, and the double is a "skilled" wager. I'm unaware of any DDS with a house hold of under 2%, so if you're aware of an advantage play, it's certainly exceptional.
