It's been thoroughly established that the double-up option is "self contained" within the original game wager -- it's not considered to be an additional wager, doesn't factor into points earned, nor theo/comps.
Obviously the double bet must factor into win/loss accounting, but seems to be ignored for all other purposes.

What about casinos that use "theo" in deciding comps ? First thought is might be an advantage for a tourist like myself if they count the double up bet as coin in as they do on the original bet .
