Most casinos will run a report from Central Credit. If you've never established a line previously, CC will pull a credit report/score. Otherwise CC will report past line history and a separate credit report won't be pulled.
A few casinos either don't pull CC, or initiate a separate credit report pull on their own. Ran into this last year with Atlantis in Reno.
As AP indicates, your bank balance will be checked.

They might check your credit score. They most certainly contact your bank to find out what kind of a balance you carry. They also probably check Central Credit in Las Vegas to get your local history with checks.
