Something like that might work on table games to disguise being a card counter, but on machines, they only look at what the computer records reveal.

This month I was running some friends through a double jackpot promotion. I told them to act like hitting the jackpot was the greatest thing that ever happened to them even though they were only getting a small piece of it. I figured they look much more like recreational gamblers. Maybe a little excitement is warranted for this reason.
