Let me explain the reasons for the 3 days I never gamble on. 1)Super Bowl Sunday - the casinos are really crowed that day (why?). They give you a chance to meet a former player and have a party watching the game with screaming fans. I want to pay attention to the game and make sure I don't miss anything. What a great Super Bowl this last game was. It just wouldn't have been the same for me if I missed any of the details. 2)my birthday - I feel this day is for me and the last thing I want to do on this special day is to gamble. 3)Christmas - do I really need to explain why I won't gamble on Christmas? BTW as far as offers go there is very little for me on Super Bowl Sunday or Christmas and the special offers I get for my birthday I usually have a choice of several days to get. The day that might have the greatest value for a gambler is New Years Eve. You get invited to all these parties, special meals (possibly a suite). You get a few of these sell what you can and make some money. I can't imagine anyone that would pay for this but apparently there are because I used to know someone that was able to sell these New Years invites for about $600. I would never be able to do this - I don't know people and I am a gambler and not a salesman (read hustler).
