Had a meeting in Las Vegas a few days ago.Drove there and back, no sleepover or visiting friends.
The meeting was at the Flamingo, and I have very good memoriesof winning a lot of money there most every visit. (blackjack)
I scouted around and found the best VP was 7/5 JoB.Dueces Wild was only 95% payback. Ew.Things are just as bad at the sub-casino Margaritaville.
I did find ONE and only one JoB at 8/5 by reception.
Denominations didn't change paytables, from 5c to $5.
I put a little over $1200 through a slot.And about $100 coin in on the awful VP.
I hit eight 3 to a royal and one four to.
No luck, however and the 95% Ev ate me up fasterthan the slot machines did.
(I played the slot at the request of my friends, not by choice.)
The hotel staff was super nice and friendly.I brought my big Japanese Police dog with me and not a word.Staff held the door for us and zero challenge or problems.
The rooms were fine, no in-room coffee maker was the only complaint.
The property could use a little spiffing, but overall,I would be fine staying, but not playing...
Apologies to all the Las Vegas friends I missed.
Only the travel costs were paid and I wanted to spend the night at home.
