Speaking of 'Spoon, I ate there in December and I was very disappointed.
First of all, it took nearly 20 minutes to be seated with only three
parties in line in front of me. When finally seated, the room was more than
half empty. When I complained, I was told they only had a few tables open.
Since it was a "slow" day (Sunday afternoon) they only had four servers
working. This made no sense. Why did they need half a dozen cashiers and
three hostesses then??
Finally the food would have been good for a Station caliber buffet. But
when you are paying a premium for a gourmet spread, you don't expect them to
cut corners which is what they did. The crab legs and chocolate mousse
were the most flavorless ever!
Needless to say I won't be going back there anytime soon.
