Just heard the latest forecast and winter storm from January 30 to January 2 in Las Vegas (actually all the way from California to Arizona). Tonight's forecast said it's possible that we could get as much as 1 to 3 inches down on the strip which is very unusual. In the event of such snow fireworks my still go off as long as the wind was not strong. Usually the snow hits the mountains living little to fall in the center of the strip.
Temperatures for New Year's want to have a high of 35 and a low around 25. I guess I'll believe such snow when I see it because the biggest snow I've seen in the last 14 years I've lived here has been about 1 inch in front of my house that dissipated by 12 noon. I live about 2 miles from the strip.
I'll keep my fingers crossed because Siona Who runs the Atlantic City VP group is flying in on New Year's eve morning.
