[vpFREE] Re: Sometimes its the hand not the total win...

Just getting over a great day of football. Back to gambling info. Nice hand miss c but I would be extremely mad only getting $8800. Your expectation per line before the draw is ((35/47)x($800))+((12/47)x($1600)) = $1004.255. Your expectation for all 10 lines is therefore $10042.55. You lost over $1200 from expectancy!! But I digress. Right now for me playing Ultimate X is just looking for multipliers and playing 5 coins per line. Miss c right after your dealt straight that set up 10 lines of 8X's did you consider betting 5 coins per line instead of 10 on the next hand? It's fairly evident that the present play dominates future setting up of multipliers and you're going to be playing "basic strategy" DDB. Whether you're betting 5 or 10 coins per line your strategy would be regular DDB plays (like drawing to a pair of Aces over drawing to Aces up or drawing to a low pair over a 4 card open ended straight with no high cards) for example. The multipliers that you would set up by betting 10 coins per line are obviously going to be on the weak side (you're more concerned with the payout on this hand with all the 8 X's than the possible future multipliers). The expected payout on that hand whether you bet 5 or 10 coins per line is going to be 50 coins x 0.9898 = 49.49 coins. Is it worth betting the extra 5 coins per line to set up weak multipliers? Of course in either case the next hand you are probably going to be betting 10 coins per line. I am a pretty good math geek but I do all my calculations with paper and pencil - so my question to you computer guys is when is it right in Ultimate X with high enough multipliers to play 5 coins per line instead of 10? Of course this assumes you will continue to play. If you're making that hand your final hand of course you would bet 5 coins per line.
