As I stated previously I'm in total agreement with Bob Dancer using max EV. In general anybody who uses any of these other strategies like min Royal is just throwing away money. A post stated that by using min Royal you do much better on the hands you don't get a Royal on. This is true: SO WHAT!! Now you get so many fewer royals that your expectation goes down the drain. Some posts think you get better offers if you don't hit a Royal. The offers must be incredibly better for you to make up what you're costing yourself on the game. In most casinos your offers are based on your coin in regardless of royals. If you like to throw away money then go ahead and use min Royal or other esoteric strategies (it's your money). My advise - always go for maximum expectation. Bob Dancer knows this! Finally in tournaments you should change your strategy to the strategy that gives you your highest expectation money wise for that tournament. Again all you're doing is maximizing your money return and not points on your machine. Pretty simple I think.
