Re: [vpFREE] Best VP comp club 2014 B, S, P, SP?

I'll chime in with my opinions.
With South Point you will get very few good mailed offers, the hosts will comp your rooms, but if you are a winner there don't expect much in the way of comps. The slot club cash back is competitive, and they have a good selection of games.
I've mostly had good results from the Boyd properties, but I do agree they have been raising the bar as of late, and you have to up your play to get the comps that you are used to .
I've never had too much in the way of good offers from Station Casinos, and I don't like the fact that once you get off of the optimum play machines where you will earn very few comps the play selection is extremely poor.
I always liked the games at the Palms, but I have never received an offer from them.
You may want to try the 4 queens, rooms are fairly easy to get and you get 0.32% cash back on most VP, and 0.64% in comp dollars. They have a small but decent selection of games.

Subject: [vpFREE] Best VP comp club 2014 B, S, P, SP?

Don't expect an answer from Bob Dancer (since he's sponsored by two of the above), but I'm sure other experts will chime in.

Heading in for a few weeks next month...last year had more comped rooms than I could use (now that resort fees are tacked onto a room's price, even 20$, every comp counts). This year, especially at one of the Boyd properties, my offers have been cut way back, even though play seemed heavier than the year before. Talked to a very friendly operator, who said I was gold (as in top notch) player at another B property, but not at the above one--because I hit my one RF there last year (Her intuitive, non-professional opinion).

At any rate, B properties seem to have cut me back in most cases (the one exception noted above), so I'm considering other options including Palms, and South Point, as well as Stations, and re-considering Boyd.

For the player looking for total benefits (including comps/cashback) who might consider playing less than 100% machines for this reason only, it looks like the two groups (B and S) and two single properties (P and SP) are roughly equivalent (in that South Point has lots of machines close to 100%, but less multiplier days, for example; Stations has more multiplier days, but heard they're less generous on perks; Palms has good machines, but few points multiplier days, and they've cut back on room offers; Boyd has multipliers, but as Bob said, they seem to "back off" on their offers to lowly VP players like me)

If my rudimentary analysis is close to accurate, then I guess the place to play is where I have the most fun, which would be Palms. But of course, if I'm missing something, please inform me of my error.

Thanks, and enjoy those Thanksgiving multipliers!!!
